Unreal Engine is based on C++ code and has a wide range of utilities. It is an engine, currently, very good and valued by many companies in different sectors. NASA has been one of the companies that has used this graphic engine to create environments and train future astronauts.

  • World Partition System. This system allows you to automatically divide the world that has been created in smaller squares, being able, in this way, to activate and deactivate the squares to be able to load, only, the part that interests us.
  • New geometry system. We are talking about nanite, a new system of virtualized micro polygons, which allows you to create images with a great amount of geometry, being able to load millions of polygons in the same scenery, and all this without affecting the graphic performance!
  • Temporal Super Resolution. A proposal that aims to improve the performance of the engine, achieving much higher resolutions. In addition, as this engine is independent, it allows us to place this graphic engine in any computer.
  • Lighting with Lumen. We can now create more realistic images, thanks to Lumen, a technology that manages to create more realistic scenes with a totally dynamic lighting system.
  • Virtual Shadow Map. It allows you to show an object with a high level of detail, playing with the resolution of the shadows and adjusting them to the geometries.
